Super Smash Bunnies

Today is the day I decided to make a video game. I have been thinking about doing this for a while now. I mean I'm a natural gamer! So my friend Liz and I are going to spend some time at the coffee shop thinking of ideas for our soon to be game" Super Smash Bunnies".

We arrived at the coffee shop, ordered a few cups of coffee, and some small snacks. After waiting in line for a few minutes, I tell her my ideas and hand her a Piece of paper with the pictures of the game. "Don’t you think that Super Smash Bunnies is a good name for a video game?!" I say. She looks at me with one eyebrow raised and a confused look on her face. "Bunnies? Seriously? That’s insane." Staring into my drink avoiding eye contact "How is that insane? This could be for all the girls who like the game Mario but not the idea of running around as a obese plumber." Looking intently at the cover of the game she sits for a few moments silent. "You may be right… that’s a pretty good idea." I smile and say "I know that’s why I made it."

Number 5

I don’t understand. When were little we were the best of friends, always getting into trouble and sneaking around Mr. Letterman’s land. Tommy and I…. But that doesn't matter now. We are both going into high school now. Tommy the hot football all star, with the snobby cheerleader girlfriend, and then theirs me lonely little Kailiey the nerd with the weird friends. It won't be like that for long though because we still have 3 days until the first day of 9th grade. I called my cousin Stephanie to come down and change me from all school to too cool. This year I was going to get Tommy back, No matter what it takes.
Lost in thought I heard the doorbell ring. Running down stairs with excitement I pulled open the door and stood face to face with the prom queen of Jefferson High.

Sodapop Curtis

In the novel The Outsiders by S.E Hinton, Sodapop Curtis is the middle Curtis brother, younger than Darry Curtis, but significantly older than Ponyboy Curtis; and his best friend Steve Randle, who have been best friends since grade school, are always looking for ways to have a good time. He may be a high school dropout but that does not stop him from being smart as can be, because street smarts is all he needs to survive. Working at a gas station, Soda tries to get as much money as he can to support his family. But being under educated and broke makes him and his family targets of the “upper class kids” the socs. In my opinion Sodapop is the sticky glue that holds the greasers together.

There are many reasons that I think that Soda is the peacemaker between the family and friends. It could be because he is movie star handsome and everyone seems to pay attention to him. Or it could be the fact that he is always happy and trying to get everyone out of fights and out of trouble. Personally I think its because he has given up so much and risked his life for his brothers.Taking place of his father who was tragically killed in a car crash, he took the time to get a job and make money to support everyone.

Sadly, his amazing looks and kind soul got him into a deep relationship that did not end well with his greaser girlfriend Sandy, but this did not stop him from being the best he could be. His relationship may have slowed him down a bit, but in the end Soda will always be the one that makes the tension between everyone ease.

A Tell-Tale-Heart

If I told you that a random person killed an old man because of an old man’s eye, what would you say? You see this is what happens in the captivating story in the “Tell-Tale-Hearts." A lunatic man, which happens to be narrator of this story, murdered an innocent sweet old man, not because the old sir vexed him, but because the eye did. I believe the narrator is absolutely crazy to commit such an act.

The reason I believe the main character is insane is because, as I said before, he killed a man because of the old man's eye. This “terrifying” milky white eye made the narrator's blood run cold; the thought of killing the old man crept into his mind. And once the thought fully was in the main character's head, it would not leave. For seven nights, exactly at midnight, the crazy man watched the old man sleep. This is another reason why he is mentally ill; he likes to watch his victim before he commits the sin.

The dreadful fact of someone doing this horrible murder disgusts me. To think that one person can hurt another being in such a way. For the reasons I have stated, this is why I think this man is not sane. Not just because of the things he did, but because of the way he acted.

The rainforest, the beautiful vegetated jungle of the earth. Lets start with the trees, smelling fresh and looking bright.. The light barely streams through the leaves, but that’s not the only thing going on with the leaves, hear the soft rustling from the mild winds. Moving deeper into the forest we look for the waterfall. The smell of the springs of warm water and the running sounds. These are my favorite things about the rainforest and I plan on sharing them with you.

Kindness is always the right decision when it comes to choices. Whether you are 8 or 80 being nice will make anyone feel better. Aesop once said No act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted. Being kind is always the way to go in life.
This quote reminds me of a time I was at school; my friend and I were in class when all of a sudden an announcement came that we all should report to the high school. We had no idea that we were about to go watch and encounter an emotional anti bullying assembly. We were visited by some people that taught us the dangers that bullying can do to people. It makes me think that you don’t know what someone is going through, so you shouldn’t judge. Also that if you say or does something to make someone feel better it might mean a lot to you but, it could mean the world to them.
Thinking, this makes me think of the book “A day no pigs would die” by Robert Newton Peck. In the first paragraph, Rob a 12 year old boy sees a cow in distress. The cow needs help, she is giving birth to two baby calves, too make matters worse she is choking and cannot breath. So he does a heroic thing and sticks his arm down the cow’s throat and pulls the item that is choking. By being kind and caring he saved an animal in need of help, because he is a good person.
Kindness is something everyone should be able to experience in their life time. Feelng good is always the right thing to do, because like Aesop said No act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted. Being nice is always making someone feel good in one way or the other, and is the reason I think being kind is always the right way to go in life.
